Mysterious Skin, take two. Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s performance in this film never fails to leave me speechless.  I have highly recommended Mysterious Skin to a lot of people in the past, and as soon as they were made aware of the subject matter, they would uncomfortably shy away from it. This is a film that needs to be seen. Its profound look at the repercussions of child sexual abuse is one of the most poignant things I have ever seen in film.
